The West Virginia University Mountaineers are a team affiliated with the Big East Conference. In 2010, they won the Big East Conference title under coach Bob Huggins, went to the NCAA Tournament as a No. 2 seed in the East Region, and made it to the Final Four. The West Virginia Mountaineers have won two NIT championships, though they have only one NCAA title in their history.
