The University of East London is one of the state key universities in London. The University is located in the city of London. It is the largest comprehensive university in London. Founded in 1892, the University of East London has developed into a new type of research university. It is ranked first among emerging universities by the government’s Department for Education and Education Appropriations Council, and some of its subjects are among the best in Britain. The University of East London was selected as the only university to be visited during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Tour 2002.
